St John's Feast 10 December 2024

Clinton Lodge NO. 548 Held a St. John the Evangelist's Day Feast

On 10 Dec, 2024, Clinton Lodge NO. 548, honored and celebrated this St John, one of its Patron Saints with Lodge Members, their families and the Sisters of the OES Chapter NO. 73. The meal stayed true to tradition, as much as possible, with courses consisting of lamb stew, baked fish served on a bed of orzo, round steak with a light gravy drizzle. All the desserts were made with Strawberries, the traditional fruit of the time period of the first feast. Red wine was replaced with Sparkling Red. All the wives and daughters, along with our OES sisters were given red roses as a token of our thanks for allowing us to participate and supporting us in our Masonic endeavors. All the children received gifts in stockings with a special ornament to remind them of this special event. This was truly a wonderful event that we hope we can continue in years to come!
